Traditionally, Reiki is a Japanese method of healing using the hands. It was created by Buddhist monk Dr. Mikao Usui.
Usui realised the body had an energetic system, and that ailments could be healed by directing the universal source Reiki Energy through the hands and into the body.
It can work on not only a physical level, but may help to heal mental and emotional ailments too.
Each Reiki Practitioner adds their own experience and modalities, making the Reiki experience unique and profound. Regardless if you choose to take it further it is a day of pure magic.
Reiki Level 1 & 2 Certification
In Level 1 you learnt the basics of how to use Reiki on yourself and your immediate family. Level 2 builds on this with attunements of 3 powerful reiki symbols and mantras. After completion, you will be able to offer Reiki to the public and register as a Reiki Practitioner with Reiki NZ. This is my personal favourite of the reiki levels as I was really excited to work with the symbols which bring a whole new depth and dimension to the practice.
There are many reasons people feel drawn to take Level 2. It may be for personal healing, that you just want to deepen your experience with reiki, you may wish to gain further knowledge, or have the intent to become a reiki practitioner. Whatever your reasons for embarking on this journey it is my wish that you just relax and enjoy the experience! Reiki is a simple and beautiful practice which I am honoured to share with you!
I have put together a toolkit of some of my ‘go-to’ items that I use during my reiki sessions. This gives you a start to setting up your altar or working through your ritual as you gain confidence in this beautiful modality. This is included in your ticket price.
